Yesterday for Britt's birthday we took a little trip to the Kansas City Zoo! It was fun to walk around and see all the animals with Noah. He loved being outside, seeing the animals, but most of all he loved the tram ride! He screamed all the way to "Africa"!! :)
Noah was able to meet lots of new, wild animals. Although he was more interested in some than others, it was still funny to see his reactions.
Noah met a super friendly monkey! He kept looking at him and standing up against the glass.
He also met some crazy goats! Noah loved the goats and all the funny noises they were making.
But more than any other exhibit at the zoo, Noah LOVED the penguins. The penguin exhibit is new at the zoo, so it was also our first time seeing them. It was so awesome to see all the penguins swimming around. Noah couldn't take his eyes off them and they even came up to the glass!
All in all, the zoo trip went over great! We made it out without any melt downs. (YAY!!) And Noah actually enjoyed it. A trip to the zoo is always great for kids. Not only do you get to see cool animals, but it can be very educational. We plan to take a lot more trips to the zoo, especially as Noah gets older. We also highly recommend taking your kiddos for a fun day at the zoo!
