We're Still Here!

Hey y'all! We know it seems like we've dropped off the face of the Earth, but we're still here! We are finally settling into our new house. And still trying to get everything normal again so please bear with us while we get completely settled. We are hoping to get back on our daily blogging schedule in the next few weeks. Until then enjoy these adorable pictures from some of our random adventures. :)

Eureka Springs, AR

My parents rented a house near Eureka Springs, AR (it was called Holiday Island). They stayed all last week and the rest of us came down this past weekend. Brittnee, Jake, and Noah were supposed to come down but due to the change in moving date they couldn't. Yes, they moved while I went on vacation. (I know I'm a terrible person) I felt bad at first, but I quickly got over it. :)

Anyway, if you are looking for a little getaway this town is perfect. There is a lot of cute shops, good resturaunts, and awesome, old historic houses. It's a small, tourist town but it's not crowded like a lot of places I've been for vacation. Also it's so beautiful and relaxing to be there, especially out on the water. Here's some pics to show you what I mean!

Moving Day

Well if you haven't heard yet, we're moving! The house selling process has been long and stressful! We got an offer in just about a week, but the process of finalizing the sale has seemed like it took years. Maybe it's because we're impatient OR maybe it's because we have 3 foot monster running around getting into everything!

And plus having to hurdle and dodge boxes that are all over the house isn't an ideal living situation.

The first part of the selling process included keeping the house spotless so when someone wanted to come see the house we didn't have to clean. (That was super fun) But now we're to the point where we are trying to pack while Noah runs around and unpacks everything. (Even more fun!) The most packing we get done is when he is watching cartoons (which only lasts about 15 minutes), eating, or sleeping. Ha!

And as an added bonus this week were are also watching our parents black lab. So we have two black labs, a toddler, and Jake! Our house is a zoo right now, to say the least! The two dogs (who are crazy to begin with) and Noah, who now believes he can ride the dogs!

Yeah it's so much fun. Haha! We are super excited to move this Friday! So stay tuned for more about our move and new place!

Our Cheeky Picnic

Have you heard about Cheeky? If you haven't, well, you are about to! :)

They are this awesome brand that sells disposable paper and plastic tableware exclusively at Target. But here's the cool part; for every product purchased they donate a meal. They have already reached more than three million meals donated this year.

Right now they are doing some really cool things like partnering with Chef Mario Batali, their new Chief Culinary Ambassador. And they have their first designer collaboration with French Bull. We love their product and love the impact they are making.

So we were super pumped when they asked us to share what was in our picnic basket! This weekend we had a nice little brunch picnic. Mostly so this preggo mama wasn't out in the heat, but also because who doesn't love a good brunch.

We kept it pretty simple. We had toasted bagels with cream cheese, strawberry slices, and orange juice. The festive Cheeky line went perfect with our picnic gear and we had so much fun prepping for and having our picnic. We did learn however that Noah isn't great a picnicking. :) But that's ok because he's cute. Ha! Check out photos from our picnic below. Also be sure to check out the Cheeky brand if you haven't already! xo, Britt

Contain Kansas City

Yesterday we had the pleasure of attending the exclusive Blogger Preview for the The Container Store that is opening in Overland Park, Kansas! Neither me, nor Brittnee, had ever been to The Container store. Let me tell you, it is AWESOME! There was so many different organizing tools. And so many things I didn't know I needed until I saw them! I really can't even explain it, you should probably just go to the opening this weekend and see for yourself! Another reason to go on the opening weekend is that 10% of all proceeds go to Children's Mercy! How cool is that?

Now heres a sneak peek into a couple of cool things we saw yesterday!
