Free 2019 Printable Calendars

Hi friends.

I know it has been a while, but I am popping in to share 2 free printable calendars with you.

Every year around this time I am looking for a new calendar to print and use to write down my goals and plans for the new year. This year I decided that I was finally going to make my own to use and share.

I have two different designs to choose between. One version is super simple and clean and the other is a little more fun. They are designed to be printed on letter paper, so should be easy for you to print at home.

Red, White, and Blue Planter + Plant Flags

I am so happy to be part of Sugar Bee Crafts Red, White and Blue series again this year! You can find out more about the series here. Be sure to check out her blog daily in June to find all of the crafts and recipes of the series.

Red, White, and Blue Planter + Plant Flags | My Only Sunshine

There is just something about all things red, white, and blue that let you know it's summer. And I am always down for a fun diy to incorporate all the red, white, and blue into my life. This is such a simple and totally adorable way to do so.

  • white planter
  • scissors
  • ruler
  • red ribbon
  • blue ribbon
  • glue
  • cute plant
  • dirt
  • small pebbles (optional)

Supplies for the plant tags:

I realized that I had some fun red pom pom and blue glitter ribbon left over from a previous project and I decided it was too cute not to use it all up. I measured my planter to see how large I wanted to make the flag for the front. I then cut the blue glitter ribbon and created a rectangle that I thought was large enough for my flag. Using the red pom pom ribbon, I made four strips to make the rest of the flag. I made mine too big at first, and had to readjusts the length of my red ribbon to make it fit how I wanted on the planter.

Using glue, I attached the ribbon to my planter.

Then I put in my dirt and succulent. After planting my succulents, I love adding little pebbles. I feel like it makes the plant look so much nicer, but it is totally optional. I already had black pebbles so I used those, but it would be fun to use red or white or blue!

It already looked cute, but I decided that it needed a little more patriotism :). So I cut a couple pieces of ribbon to look like flags. (You will want to base the size of your plant flags on the size of planter you choose.) I took my letter beads and spelled out "USA❤️" and "FREE," and glued them onto the flags. Next I glued them on to small pieces of wire and they were good to go.

I love how cute this project turned out, even though it is so simple! I hope you loved this diy and I hope that you check out the rest of this months series over on Sugar Bee Crafts blog.

Mama's Day Out

As you probably know by now, I am a work-at-home mom. I spend a lot of my time arguing with ... I mean hanging out with toddlers :) Which I adore! But mama can use a break every now and then. So I had a work free day and I sent my littles off to the grandparents and decided to treat myself.

I went and got my favorite iced latte and headed out to shop. I went to check out Versona's new spring line that just recently released. It was a little weird to go somewhere by myself, with no one hanging on my leg or yelling "mom" over and over :) but it was so relaxing and fun to be able to have that time to check everything out and try stuff on (and have some quiet time to think).

I have to say my favorite part of the spring line is all of the details. I really love the dainty florals and the cutouts in some of the pieces. And per usual, I was attracted to stripes and all in my normal colors: black, gray, military green, blush, cream. I had a very hard time deciding what to buy! You can see a few photos of my trip below.

I ended up purchasing a super comfortable dress (striped of course) and some really fun oversized sunnies. I made my sister go out with me this weekend so I could model my new stuff :) I loved that the dress was versatile enough that I could pair it with some pieces that I already had in my closet. Some of our photos from our outing are below.

Noah's Moon Party

Anyone who knows me well, knows I get a little too into throwing parties. I get all these crazy ideas that I want to implement and I spend way to much money and get myself stressed out to the max. I literally do it every single time.

For Noah's third birthday I made a promise to myself that I would throw a fun, yet simple party. I let Noah help me choose the theme. He is really into the phases of the moon currently, so he quickly responded that he wanted a "circle moon party" (he refers to each phase by the shape).

I kept the decorations cute, but simple. He totally loved everything and the party was a success! It was nice to take some of that stress away so I could actually enjoy my kiddo's birthday.
